Why should I care?
Do it for your community, social life, but most importantly, do it for your child!! Research shows that when parents are involved in their children's education, the children are more likely to:
· score higher on tests.
· pass their classes.
· attend school regularly.
· have better social skills.
· show improved behaviour.
· be more positive in their attitude toward school.
· complete homework assignments.
· graduate and continue their education.
When parents get involved early in their children's education, the results are more pronounced and long-lasting.
When parents come to school regularly, it reinforces the view in the child's mind that school and home are connected and that school is an integral part of the whole family's life.
How can you get involved?
· Come to the PA Meeting to find out what we are doing and have your voice in preparation to the upcoming events
· Volunteer for the Drop Off
· Offer your help and skills towards PA organized events

Whether you are new to our school community or returning after the summer holidays we would like to inform you about our wonderful morning drop-off service. For those of you who already use it you will agree that this is a very effective way for us parents & guardians to get our children safely to school without long delays getting in and out of the car park.
Every morning from 8.30-8.40am parent volunteers wait at the dedicated drop-off zone to help our children make their way from the car to the school. They help the child get out of the car and supervise them as they make their way to the main door of the school, where school staff take responsibility for them. This is a wonderful service that very much helps to relieve congestion and get parents back on the road to work or home.
As always this service would not be possible without the help of parent volunteers. With our ever growing school it would now only take 3 mornings from each parent in our school to fill the drop-off schedule for the whole year!
If you think you could help out at all please email our drop-off coordinator Anna @ firstname.lastname@example.org
