We are pleased and proud to publish our distance learning plan for this school year.
In August, we asked parents, pupils and staff for their feedback and ideas. We considered those and put together what we think is that plan that best reflects that feedback. Please see below for an overview of our plan. In conjunction with this plan, we are proud to share our Distance Learning Skills page. On Thursday morning, our Distance Learning team (Caitriona, Anita and Sharon) will host an information session for parents. At that, we will talk through the plan and our vision for distance learning at our school this year. We look forward to working together again this year. This quick guide is very useful. Please save it and refer to it. We recommend printing it and putting it up on your fridge or inside the door of a press in your kitchen so that you can refer to it when needed. *Please use the web version of our website to be able to see the document.
We were so impressed with the survey responses. Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to consider our questions and to answer them. It gave us lots to think about and we are now busy using all of the information to develop a Distance Learning Plan for our school for the 2020/21 school year. We hope to publish the plan by 18th September.
We spent the week informing and reassuring the adults. Now that we are all a little more settled, it's time for us to share our enthusiasm for the start of the new school year with the children.
We really hope that these pages help the children to know what school will be like when they come back. Click on the link to see photos of the classrooms and of staff members working at that year group - with and without face coverings, a map for how to get to your classroom and videos of the routes. Please share your excitement and enthusiasm with your child and set them up for happily returning to school this week. |
