We are proud to announce that our school will be hosting a fundraising event for LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice. LauraLynn is a hospice for children with life-limiting conditions and provides residential care for children and young adults with disabilities. What do you need to do before the event?
We would like everyone in our community to get behind LauraLynn and raise as much awareness and donations as we can for this wonderful cause. To do that, we are asking all of the students, parents and staff of our school to spread the word in our community and encourage people to make sponsorship donations on our dedicated GoFundMe page. People can donate as little or as much as they want, every little bit helps! Scan the QR code below to visit the fundraising page or click on the link here. Feel free to share the link on your social media pages. All of the money raised will go directly to LauraLynn. School staff will not be handling any money.

What will happen on the day?
On the event day, we would like all of the students and staff of Citywest ETNS to take part in the fun run. It is a good idea to wear a white t-shirt for the run as it shows up the colour best. We strongly suggest that your child wears sunglasses/regular glasses/goggles to protect their eyes from the powder. Throughout the day, school groups will take it in turns to run through the fun race course. At different checkpoints of the course, the runners will be dusted with a different coloured powder and there will be a large celebratory of mixed colouring at the finish line. By the end of the race, everyone will hopefully be colourful and smiling!
Additional Note
The powder we will use for the event is produced to the highest EU quality standards and is safe for the skin/body, the powder does not harm the environment and easily washes away. It is made from 100% natural ingredients, is natural, Eco Friendly and manufactured in a sustainable manner.
