 | The children of Citywest ETNS have been very busy this term and have learnt lots from their SESE lessons!! From the Intel Mini-Scientist Competition in 4th Class, to history trails in 2nd Class and map making in Junior Infants, the national school curriculum that comprises History, Geography and Science just keeps on giving! |
Check out the fun that was had by our Junior Infant classes as they replicated that exciting trail from 'Rosie's walk'. And see here how Senior Infants really 'got back to nature' one wintery morning in school! Then, in Second Class, see how the children were not only busy designing maps for their bee bots, but how they also went on a history trail of our neighbouring village, Saggart! Third Class were very lucky to have a visitor from OWLS come in and teach them about habitats and native Irish animals! And check out the picutres below to see how Fourth Class turned it up a notch in the exploration of all-things-scientific, when they got together to develop some AMAZING group science projects for the Intel Mini-Scientist Competition!!
