It happened, it actually happened! It has been such a roller coaster, but on Tuesday the 17th of December, we actually got our hands on the keys to our fabulous new school building!
First, we made sure we had everything packed up and ready to move from our old building to our new one. The classrooms and halls looked so bare, as we had taken everything down and boxed up all of our resources. It was bittersweet to leave the building which has been our home for 7 and a half years and where we have so many wonderful memories. We have been sure to take some time and reflect on this over the past couple of months, as we really have been so happy here!
Once we had everything packed, it was time to go and see our new building... and it really did not disappoint!
First up, Caitríona and the Board of Management conducted a handover and went through the legal documents, before receiving the keys! The keys were passed from Ciarán, the Department of Education representative to Paul Rowe, CEO of Educate Together. He then passed them to Stephen and Caitríona - what a significant moment!

Next up, it was time for Caitríona to cut the ribbon and welcome our staff to the building for the first time. It was just brilliant to see the look of excitement and amazement on everyone's face as they toured the building.
It was an absolutely fantastic day and we still can't believe this school is ours! We CANNOT WAIT to welcome our pupils here on the 6th January and show them around our forever home!
