Booked up!
Senior Infants and First Class got together for a reading circle to give the new books a test run! Last week we were delighted to take delivery of a bumper load of new books! Thanks to parent contributions this year we have been able to order a super selection, accessible to all ages and abilities.
Having multiple copies of each book means that when working in a small group with a teacher, each child is able to follow along with the text themselves. We will also be able to send these books home for reading with parents, later in the year.

Senior Infants - Senior Infants have been exploring new ways to add with their fingers as well as counting some very big numbers. Read more here.
First Class had their first ever chance to do their homework on the computer this week! Everybody really enjoyed it and they look forward to doing this every week from now on. See our typing here!
