School-Home Communication

Most home-school communication for our school is electronic - via our website, via e-mail and via text.

Please make sure to check our website and your e-mail regularly so that you keep up-to-date. Once you have read an e-mail from us, please click to acknowledge receipt so that we know you have received it.

While we aim to reduce the number of paper notes sent home, there will be times when it is necessary. If you think you may have missed a note, please check with Nicola, our school secretary, either in person or via e-mail.

It is your responsibility to make sure that we have up-to-date contact details for you. Please use the button below to let us know if any details have changed.

14th Sept - Email to all families: IMPORTANT CAR PARK REMINDERS

16/9/2016

Dear parents and guardians,
You may have noticed yesterday afternoon that work has started on our new classrooms, creating a disruption to parking and path facilities.
This is an opportunity to remind everyone of our car park guidelines.
  • Park before the builder's yard only. There is NO parking anywhere on campus after the builder's yard. (UNLESS you have been given a parking permit by the school and that permit is clearly visible on the dash of your car.) This is at all times of the day.
  • Park in designated spots only and in one spot only, not parked across a line. If you need more space than one spot provides, park in the car park at the end of the building, where there is lots of space.
  • No parking against the fence/shrubs on the right as you drive through the campus. Cars parked there makes it difficult for properly-parked cars to exit their spaces.
  • Reverse into spaces if possible.
Those parents who have been parking properly are increasingly frustrated by the difficulties caused by those not adhering to these guidelines. We know its a bit of a walk; we know its a frustration. But these guidelines are in place to keep the children safe and to keep traffic flowing through the campus.
Very few schools have the luxury of such parking facilities - indeed, we won't have any parking facilities for parents once we move to our permanent building! Please consider walking or cycling to school instead of driving.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Caitriona Hand,
Principal.
