School-Home Communication

Most home-school communication for our school is electronic - via our website, via e-mail and via text.

Please make sure to check our website and your e-mail regularly so that you keep up-to-date. Once you have read an e-mail from us, please click to acknowledge receipt so that we know you have received it.

While we aim to reduce the number of paper notes sent home, there will be times when it is necessary. If you think you may have missed a note, please check with Nicola, our school secretary, either in person or via e-mail.

It is your responsibility to make sure that we have up-to-date contact details for you. Please use the button below to let us know if any details have changed.

27th June 2018: Email to all families - Booklists and school expenses for the new school year

27/6/2018

Dear parents and guardians,
Thank you so much for your patience as we finalised booklists and school expenses. The lists are now published on our school website and the payment link will be emailed to you shortly.
Please accept our apologies for the delay in circulating these, which we usually publish by the end of May. Last year, we experienced difficulties with processing payments from families with more than one child attending our school. The processing of these reduced payments was extremely labour-intensive, and this year, we have been working to find a better way to administer these payments. To this end, we have ultimately streamlined school expenses across all classes, to a cost of €130 for children in all classes (and a reduced cost of €100 for second and subsequent children from the same family).
In acknowledgement of the later release date of these expenses, we have extended the date by which payments should be made to 29 August 2018. We would like to thank you for your patience as we adjusted our payments process and look forward to the continued success of our online payments system. We hope that next year, we will be back to publishing the lists earlier in the term.
Kindest regards,
Caitriona Hand,
Principal.
