School-Home Communication

Most home-school communication for our school is electronic - via our website, via e-mail and via text.

Please make sure to check our website and your e-mail regularly so that you keep up-to-date. Once you have read an e-mail from us, please click to acknowledge receipt so that we know you have received it.

While we aim to reduce the number of paper notes sent home, there will be times when it is necessary. If you think you may have missed a note, please check with Nicola, our school secretary, either in person or via e-mail.

It is your responsibility to make sure that we have up-to-date contact details for you. Please use the button below to let us know if any details have changed.

8th Sept - Email to all families: After School Programme

13/10/2017

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),
This is a reminder that our After-School programme starts back on Monday the 11th of September. We now have 11 classes on offer - if you wish your child to attend any of the classes, please follow this link to sign up: http://www.citywestetns.ie/after-school-sign-up.html. Some classes fill up quickly, so be sure to book your place.
For children in Junior and Senior Infants, the class provider will collect your child directly from the classroom. For children in 1st - 5th classes, the provider will meet them in the lobby of the school at home time. Once they have done that, your child is the responsibility of the after-school provider and not of the school.  While some after-school classes are open to children in Junior Infants, we recommend waiting until at least the 2nd term before enrolling Junior Infants into after-school classes in order to give them every chance at success at school.
All money should be paid directly to the provider - the school does not accept this money.
Many thanks and kind regards,
Orla Traynor (After-School Co-ordinator)
