School-Home Communication

Most home-school communication for our school is electronic - via our website, via e-mail and via text.

Please make sure to check our website and your e-mail regularly so that you keep up-to-date. Once you have read an e-mail from us, please click to acknowledge receipt so that we know you have received it.

While we aim to reduce the number of paper notes sent home, there will be times when it is necessary. If you think you may have missed a note, please check with Nicola, our school secretary, either in person or via e-mail.

It is your responsibility to make sure that we have up-to-date contact details for you. Please use the button below to let us know if any details have changed.

Attempted Abduction in Saggart Area

15/4/2016

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian(s),

It has come to our attention that there was an attempted abduction of a young boy on Wednesday, 13th April at approximately 3.50 p.m in the Saggart area.

It is our understanding that this incident occurred as the child walked home from his school in Saggart, following an after-school club.

Fortunately, in this case, the attempted abduction was unsuccessful, as the child refused to get in the car with these strangers, and ran to safety.
This incident is currently being investigated by the Gardaí.

We would encourage all parents to talk to their child about the potential dangers of talking to strangers.

We would urge all parents to be extra vigilant around our community and report any suspicious behaviour to the Gardaí.

Yours faithfully,

Anita Collings
Acting Principal
