School-Home Communication

Most home-school communication for our school is electronic - via our website, via e-mail and via text.

Please make sure to check our website and your e-mail regularly so that you keep up-to-date. Once you have read an e-mail from us, please click to acknowledge receipt so that we know you have received it.

While we aim to reduce the number of paper notes sent home, there will be times when it is necessary. If you think you may have missed a note, please check with Nicola, our school secretary, either in person or via e-mail.

It is your responsibility to make sure that we have up-to-date contact details for you. Please use the button below to let us know if any details have changed.

Details:

We are delighted to announce the arrival of a book fair at our school. The Scholastic Book Fair is a fantastic way for you to support your child's emergent reading, while also supporting our school! This is because every book sold at the Fair will help to get free books for our school. The book fair will include over 200 top children’s titles from over fifty publishers, carefully chosen to reflect all tastes and abilities. Prices start at €3.60. The books will be available for parents to browse and/or purchase in the entrance hall at the beginning and end of every school day. Children will have an opportunity to visit the book stand with their class at least once during the course of the week, and children in Infant classes are also free to browse the titles with their parents at the end of the school day.

Should your child see a book that interests them when their class visits the book fair, they can take a note of the name of the book and the price of it. Should you wish to purchase that book for your child, you may send in appropriate amount with your child the following day, in an envelope marked with your child's name, the amount, and the name of their chosen book.

We look forward to seeing you at our first book fair and we hope it is a great success!
