Dear Parents/ Guardians,
As part of our learning in History this month, 5th Class have been learning about the 1916 Rising. As a part of that, we have organised a trip to the National Museum of Ireland at Collins Barracks, next Tuesday. There, we will partake in a tour of the 1916 exhibit.
The plan is that we will get the Luas to and from the museum. The trip will take part of the school day. Your child should pack their books and lunch as for a normal school day.
The price of a return ticket on the Luas is €2.40. We would be grateful if you could send in this amount over the next few days, in advance of the trip, so that we can buy the tickets in advance, for convenience. If, for any reason, you would have difficulty in paying this, please contact Caitríona in confidence.
As always, we will need a parent volunteer to ensure that our trip is a safe and enjoyable one. If you would be available to come along next Tuesday (29th) between 10.20 and 1.45, please fill in the form below.
