School-Home Communication

Most home-school communication for our school is electronic - via our website, via e-mail and via text.

Please make sure to check our website and your e-mail regularly so that you keep up-to-date. Once you have read an e-mail from us, please click to acknowledge receipt so that we know you have received it.

While we aim to reduce the number of paper notes sent home, there will be times when it is necessary. If you think you may have missed a note, please check with Nicola, our school secretary, either in person or via e-mail.

It is your responsibility to make sure that we have up-to-date contact details for you. Please use the button below to let us know if any details have changed.

Friday 5th June - Email to all: More live sessions on zoom for each class!

Dear parents and guardians,
This month, we will be exploring live sessions a little further. Each class will have three Zoom sessions this month. I will be hosting class level assemblies on Friday 19th June, times as for the last assembly. Teachers will be hosting one session for each class over the coming week and another a fortnight later. You will receive separate invitations for these. We hope that you take part. It is a great chance for the children to see their friends before the summer break.
It is also a great chance for you and for us to learn more about this way of engaging so that we can use it more in the future, should there be further times of distance learning.
There are specific skills for children in engaging in this way and the more they practice, the better they will get with them!

More news:
  • I am continuing to give a virtual tour of the school, with an extra video added each day. This tour will finish next Friday, when I will upload the last video in the tour.
  • It was lovely to get the first messages for our virtual guard of honour for our 6th class graduates. Please keep sending in your messages!
  • Our School Rocks is still going on and cheering us all up. Send us photos of your rocks here.
  • Next week is Week 2 of Diversity Fortnight. There are lots of ideas there to help you celebrate it.
All the best for now,
Caitriona.
