School-Home Communication

Most home-school communication for our school is electronic - via our website, via e-mail and via text.

Please make sure to check our website and your e-mail regularly so that you keep up-to-date. Once you have read an e-mail from us, please click to acknowledge receipt so that we know you have received it.

While we aim to reduce the number of paper notes sent home, there will be times when it is necessary. If you think you may have missed a note, please check with Nicola, our school secretary, either in person or via e-mail.

It is your responsibility to make sure that we have up-to-date contact details for you. Please use the button below to let us know if any details have changed.

Weather alerts
As for previous alerts, we intend to communicate with parents via text, website, email and/or social media IF the decision is made to close the school for any reason.
As we are expecting cold, snowy, icy conditions later this week, please remember to prioritise safety, to leave extra time for all journeys and to remember to leave extra space between vehicles and between vehicles and pedestrians. If at all possible, walk to school rather than driving on such mornings, assuming it is safe to travel at all.
Snow is not a reason to stop children playing outside so, unless there is another reason to keep us inside on snowy days, we will be taking the children outside to play, either at play time or in smaller groups during class time. Please make sure that your child brings the appropriate clothing with them to school. There is such joy to be had playing in the snow and we want ALL children to experience that fun with their friends! Children with asthma should make sure to wear a scarf so that the air is warmed before entering their lungs.
