School-Home Communication

Most home-school communication for our school is electronic - via our website, via e-mail and via text.

Please make sure to check our website and your e-mail regularly so that you keep up-to-date. Once you have read an e-mail from us, please click to acknowledge receipt so that we know you have received it.

While we aim to reduce the number of paper notes sent home, there will be times when it is necessary. If you think you may have missed a note, please check with Nicola, our school secretary, either in person or via e-mail.

It is your responsibility to make sure that we have up-to-date contact details for you. Please use the button below to let us know if any details have changed.

Theatre Trip - 4th and 2nd classes only

22/11/2016

Dear Parent/Guardian,

4th and 2nd classes have been afforded a wonderful opportunity to attend a theatrical performance of "The Locksmith's Song" in Rua Red on Friday 25th of November.

This is a tale of courage and daring, of the things we lose and eventually find. Through puppetry, paper art, shadow play and storytelling, Eoin Lynch weaves the wonderful world of The Locksmith's Song.  Suitable for children aged 7+.

In addition to the performance Eoin will run a free in-school puppetry workshop for the children the week following the trip.

The cost of the trip is €6.70.

The charge for the performance is €5.00 and €1.70 is required for the Luas fare.

Any family experiencing financial difficulty can contact Caitríona in confidence.

We require parent volunteers to help us with the outing.  There is no cost to parents who volunteer.  If you are available to assist from 10:20am - 1:30pm on the Friday, please contact Nicola in the office or with a note in with your child.
