With Jasper's previous experience being in IT, we are thrilled that he is going to put his skills to good use and support the roll-out of a strong ICT programme in our school. This school year sees the introduction of a Computer Room for the first time ever, complete with a class set of Chromebooks. Jasper's support means that we will also be finally able to spend the money fundraised two years ago for tablets/iPads for our school. Jasper will also support our usage of the computer trolley full of laptops that is used in classrooms throughout the school, as well as our Beebots, interactive boards and other ICT equipment we are so fortunate to have at our disposal. We have been experimenting with visualisers and cameras and have been engaging with other schools in our digital cluster. This support means that we can do so confidently and robustly and hopefully soon leave the experimentation phase behind us and move forwards with solid digital learning plans.
