School-Home Communication

Most home-school communication for our school is electronic - via our website, via e-mail and via text.

Please make sure to check our website and your e-mail regularly so that you keep up-to-date. Once you have read an e-mail from us, please click to acknowledge receipt so that we know you have received it.

While we aim to reduce the number of paper notes sent home, there will be times when it is necessary. If you think you may have missed a note, please check with Nicola, our school secretary, either in person or via e-mail.

It is your responsibility to make sure that we have up-to-date contact details for you. Please use the button below to let us know if any details have changed.

Dear Parents and Guardians,
We are pleased to announce the beginning a programme of educational experiences designed to increase our children’s understanding of, and appreciation for, a variety of belief systems. It is our hope that during their time at Citywest ETNS, each child will have the opportunity to meet with a religious leader and/or visit the place of worship of each of the main world religions, as well as some non-theistic belief systems.

This year, First Class will have the opportunity to visit the Dublin Hebrew Congregation at their synagogue in Terenure. The trip is planned for 8 December. At the synagogue, the children will learn about Judaism generally, and about Chanukah specifically. They will have an opportunity to see some items of significance to the Jewish faith, as well as speaking with a leader of the community and ask him some questions.

In order for this trip to be safe and successful, we need your help. We need a number of parent volunteers to accompany the group. If you are available to help out on the day, please complete the form on our website.

Thanking you for your continued support.
Yours sincerely,
Orla and Mary Treasa, class teachers
Aoife, Learn Together coordinator
Caitriona, Principal
