School-Home Communication

Most home-school communication for our school is electronic - via our website, via e-mail and via text.

Please make sure to check our website and your e-mail regularly so that you keep up-to-date. Once you have read an e-mail from us, please click to acknowledge receipt so that we know you have received it.

While we aim to reduce the number of paper notes sent home, there will be times when it is necessary. If you think you may have missed a note, please check with Nicola, our school secretary, either in person or via e-mail.

It is your responsibility to make sure that we have up-to-date contact details for you. Please use the button below to let us know if any details have changed.

22nd March 2018: Email to all families - Student Council Pyjama and Movie Day Fundraiser tomorrow

22/3/2018

Pyjama and Movie Day
To celebrate the end of term tomorrow and to bring together a number of ideas put forward by pupils in our school via the suggestion box, our Student Council are organising a Pyjama and Movie Day tomorrow.
Everyone is invited to wear pyjamas to school (while, of course, making sure to be warm enough for weather, including for outdoor play time!) and bring a teddy to school.
Our Student Council are suggesting a donation of 2 euro per family, which they will use to purchase chess sets and skipping ropes for play times.

End of term
School will finish at the usual time tomorrow afternoon and will remain closed for two weeks for Spring break. The school will reopen on Monday 9th April and we look forward to seeing everyone then for the third and final term of the school year.
Today is the last day for our three Spanish student teachers, who have been working in our school since January. We will also be shortly saying Goodbye to teacher Stephen as Aoife Hegarty returns from leave after the break. Many thanks to Stephen for all of his work in our school this year.

Swimming reminder
Thanks so much to those who have paid for swimming already. Gentle reminder that swimming is to be paid for before we return from spring break. If paying would be a difficulty for you, please contact me in confidence. (Please note that swimming is for children in 1st to 5th classes only.)
