School-Home Communication

Most home-school communication for our school is electronic - via our website, via e-mail and via text.

Please make sure to check our website and your e-mail regularly so that you keep up-to-date. Once you have read an e-mail from us, please click to acknowledge receipt so that we know you have received it.

While we aim to reduce the number of paper notes sent home, there will be times when it is necessary. If you think you may have missed a note, please check with Nicola, our school secretary, either in person or via e-mail.

It is your responsibility to make sure that we have up-to-date contact details for you. Please use the button below to let us know if any details have changed.

New Enrolment Policy
Please note that our Board of Management and our Patron, Educate Together, have approved a new enrolment policy for our school. The new policy gives priority to siblings of children already in the school and to children who will have turned four years of age by the end of March in the year they are due to start school. This means that siblings who will turn 4 by the end of March will get first priority, followed by all other children who will have turned four by the end of March. Without this change, we would have 13 families already in our school unable to secure a place this year for their younger child, with most of these siblings too old to wait another year to start school. This has been a significant piece of work and makes a very practical move towards maintaining continuity for our community in the face of over-subscription. We have included a transition plan in the new policy so that it will phase in over four years. If you would like to receive a hard copy of the policy, just reply to this email to let us know and we will send one home with your child.
