School-Home Communication

Most home-school communication for our school is electronic - via our website, via e-mail and via text.

Please make sure to check our website and your e-mail regularly so that you keep up-to-date. Once you have read an e-mail from us, please click to acknowledge receipt so that we know you have received it.

While we aim to reduce the number of paper notes sent home, there will be times when it is necessary. If you think you may have missed a note, please check with Nicola, our school secretary, either in person or via e-mail.

It is your responsibility to make sure that we have up-to-date contact details for you. Please use the button below to let us know if any details have changed.

Email to parents of children in 5th Class

Dear Parents/ Guardians,
As part of our Visual Arts learning this month, 5th Class will be taking a trip to the National Gallery of Ireland. There, we will be focusing particularly on 19th and 20th Century Irish art, as well as keeping an eye out for works of art that imitate other, earlier works of art.
The plan is that we will get the Luas in to town and then walk to the gallery. We will be leaving the gallery to return to school soon after 1pm. There is a slight chance that we will be a little late returning to school - should this be the case, we will text you by 1.30 to let you know our expected arrival time.
The price of a return ticket on the Luas is €2.40. We would be grateful if you could send in this amount over the next few days, in advance of the trip, so that we can buy the tickets in advance, for convenience. If, for any reason, you would have difficulty in paying this, please contact Caitríona in confidence.
As always, we need parent volunteers to ensure that our trip is a safe and enjoyable one. If you would be available to come along next Wednesday (24th) between 10.30 and 2.15, please fill in the form below.
Thanks,
Aoife                Caitríona
