Dear Parents,
As you know, we have invested a great deal of money into books for a graded reading programme that runs throughout the school, as well as a book rental scheme. In order to maximise the life of these books, we would like to cover each of the books with plastic backing.
This job would be so much easier with a group of volunteers, who could work together, and take the opportunity to get to know each other, as well as some ofour school community, better.
If you could spare a couple of hours on any of the following dates, please complete the slip below and return it to the school. We will start at 8.30 with a brief demonstration/ explanation of how to cover the books, and work for a couple of hours, depending on your availability.
