Over the past week, our school community has been very busy on Zoom, as meetings have been taking place to finalise the arrangements for our return to school next week.
As well as a staff meeting, Caitríona, Anita and Jessica hosted three meetings for parents, to share with them the main points of interest in relation to the return for school. These meetings were really well attended - we are delighted to have such an engaged parent body. After Caitríona took us through an overview of the school's response plan, she was able to put many people's minds at ease, in answering specific questions for parents.
Jessica, chairperson of the Parents Association, explained how the PA is modifying their activities in response to COVID-19, and encouraged parents to join the PA Facebook group to stay in touch.
We were also delighted to have as speakers, the parents of some children who have been attending our summer provision summer camp. Chris, Richard and Luana were all able to share the positive changes they have seen in their children from the very first day that they returned to the routine of school.
If you missed the meetings, you might be interested to take a look through the slides that were discussed, below.
