School-Home Communication

Most home-school communication for our school is electronic - via our website, via e-mail and via text.

Please make sure to check our website and your e-mail regularly so that you keep up-to-date. Once you have read an e-mail from us, please click to acknowledge receipt so that we know you have received it.

While we aim to reduce the number of paper notes sent home, there will be times when it is necessary. If you think you may have missed a note, please check with Nicola, our school secretary, either in person or via e-mail.

It is your responsibility to make sure that we have up-to-date contact details for you. Please use the button below to let us know if any details have changed.

Parent-Teacher Meetings Next Week
IMPORTANT MESSAGES HERE - PLEASE READ EVERY LINE
Parent-Teacher meetings will take place next week. The school will close at 13:55 for 1st to 5th classes on Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th February and most meetings will take place between 14:10 and 16:10 on those dates. In order to fit everyone in, some teachers will be offering meetings in the mornings next week and on other afternoons.
Where parents are being asked to attend more than one meeting e.g. because they have more than one child attending our school, those meetings will be scheduled close to one another.
If there is any day next week on which you CANNOT come to meet your child's teacher, please reply to this email before lunchtime tomorrow, Tuesday, to let us know.
We are also happy to make our library available so that parents can mind each other's children while they attend their meetings. To clarify, we will not be providing supervision and children cannot be left unsupervised. The idea is that you pair up with another parent - you will mind their child(ren) while they attend their meeting(s) and then they will mind your child(ren) while you attend your meeting(s). Children cannot be left sitting outside the classroom while you attend your meeting and cannot go into the meeting (other than babes-in-arms/babies in buggies).
If you have a friend you would like to do this with, let us know who they are by lunchtime tomorrow, Tuesday, so that we can schedule your meetings within the same hour.
If you do not have childcare and do not have someone you can pair up with, let us know by lunchtime tomorrow, Tuesday, so that we can match you with someone. By asking for this, you are committing to supervising another person's child(ren) while they attend their meeting(s) on the understanding that they will do the same for you.
Times of meetings will be sent to you by the end of this week. If you cannot attend at the time given, please let us know immediately. It is not fair to leave a teacher sitting waiting for you.
