Together, we help make our school community stronger, friendlier, and more connected.
Whether you’re new to the school or have been part of it for years, the PA is here for you — to share ideas, support events, and build a sense of belonging for all families.
Who We Are
Chairperson: Jule McCauley
Secretary: Gosia Roantree
Treasurer: Daniela McAndrew
The PA Committee is elected by parents and works in partnership with school staff and the wider parent body to coordinate activities, fundraisers, and community events throughout the school year.
What We Do
The Parents’ Association plays an active role in school life. Here’s how we contribute:
Fundraising
We raise money to provide resources and experiences not covered by the Department of Education. Past examples include:
- Cake Sales & Raffles – fun events the children love to take part in
- Book Fairs – encouraging reading while supporting our school library
- Seasonal Fundraisers – raffles, treat days, and more
Every euro raised goes directly back to the children through classroom resources, library improvements, cultural celebrations, and special activities.
Supporting School Events
We volunteer time and energy to help school life run smoothly, including:
- Providing teas and refreshments at parent evenings, talks, and showcases
- Welcoming new families at open days
- Helping with exhibitions, performances, and celebrations
Our aim is to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that reflects the spirit of our school.
Building Community
A big part of our role is helping families connect. We:
- Host coffee mornings where parents can meet and chat
- Organise arts & crafts workshops for children inspired by the rich cultural celebrations within our school community
- Celebrate diversity through annual events such as Mother Tongue Week and the International Food Fair
- Support seasonal and cultural events that bring us together
We also encourage a “reuse, recycle, repurpose” approach in all our activities to promote sustainability and care for our environment.
Linking Parents and the School
We act as a bridge between families and the school by:
- Holding regular PA meetings to share ideas and feedback
- Keeping parents informed about events and opportunities to get involved
- Listening to parent suggestions and representing them where appropriate
When you take part in the PA, you have a real chance to help shape the environment your child learns and grows in.
How You Can Get Involved
There are many ways to take part — big or small:
- Volunteer to help at an event or with a task
- Share ideas, skills, or useful contacts
- Join coffee mornings or workshops
- Donate time, energy, money, or resources

We also have an active WhatsApp community where parents share ideas, updates, and reminders. To be added to the WhatsApp community or to your class WhatsApp group, please email us at:

Thank You
