We continue to miss you. We are cheered by seeing the lovely photos come in and hearing from parents and children so please keep those coming! Let's stay in touch!
Suggested activities for next week are going live on the class websites this afternoon.
We are also pleased to share with you the results of the surveys we undertook in April and our plan based on those results.
We are excited to launch two initiatives this afternoon:
First is Our School Rocks by our Parents Association, which is already bringing a smile to all of our faces!
Second is Well-being Fortnight, which we will all take part in together over the next two weeks.
Once I get the plans for next week's The School Hub, I will put together a list of suggested episodes for each class and will add that to our News page so please come back there after the weekend if you would be interested in that. In the meantime, you might like to check out this week's list.
Once again, I'm reminding you of the supports that are available for those struggling.
The message I'm getting from those I have been in touch with is that the initial stress and pressure is easing a little and people are settling into a new routine and generally taking the pressure off themselves and focusing on having moments of happiness and love and confidence and connection. I am really pleased to hear that and I hope that it is true for you. Our teachers can pick up on the learning when we return to the school building, as long as children are not too stressed or worried. Feeling happy and confident and loved is so important... For us adults as well as for the children!
Wishing you all a happy and healthy long weekend.
We'll be back (virtually!) on Tuesday.
Take care,
Caitriona.
