Our Home Learning Enrichment Programme returns to 3rd, 4th and 5th classes in Term 3. Be sure to check out your child's class page to keep up to date with all the latest learning and creativity! Last year we were blown away with the high level of learning taking place outside of school. We're looking forward to more great home learning this year.
On Friday March 23rd we are having a fundraising 'PJ and Movie Day'. We are asking each family in the school to donate €2. With the money we raise we plan on buying chess boards and skipping ropes for the school. We got the idea to buy these from our suggestion boxes.
On Friday please wear your PJs to school, with your normal shoes and normal coat. You can also bring your teddy and blanket. If you have a movie that you would like to watch you can bring a 'General' rated DVD to school and each class can have a vote to see what movie is watched. We hope everybody has a cosy day and that we raise funds for our school! Regretfully, we are unable to open tomorrow. I will email parents and guardians shortly with details. Update: We have diggers & workers to clear the snow tomorrow, Monday. Thanks for the offers but help is NOT needed. We fully expect to open Tuesday. Will confirm in the morning.
Following assessment at the school this morning, the school will remain closed tomorrow, Monday 5th March. We will reassess tomorrow morning re opening Tuesday and may be looking for help clearing a path from midday tomorrow. Stay safe.
