Last night, we hosted our first webinar! It was the first time our Information Evening for prospective parents was done virtually and it was a great success. We were thrilled to welcome over 70 people, to learn more about our school and help them to decide if Citywest ETNS is the right fit for their families.

See you on Wednesday at 7pm. We were thrilled to host our Parent Hour this morning at 11am, which was a wonderful collaboration between our staff and our Parents Association. It gave our parents and guardians the opportunity to drop in and have a chat about distance learning in our school. We are all doing our best and it is so lovely to have a space where we can work with, and support one another.
Thanks to Jessica, Caitríona, Anita and Lisa for hosting this morning! On the 6th January, our Taoiseach announced that school buildings are to remain closed for the month of January. This was initially for mainstream classes only. However, we then learned on the 7th January that our special classes would also remain closed for the moment.
This means that distance learning commences for all classes from the 11th January. We are relieved to have our Distance Learning plan prepared, along with having spent time last term allowing everyone to become familiar with the plan and work on the relevant skills needed. Remember, there are lots of resources and supports available. We created a specific area on our website for these during the last building closures - have a look if you wish. We look forward to working with our community over the coming weeks and hope everyone is keeping safe and well during this time. |
