On the 6th January, our Taoiseach announced that school buildings are to remain closed for the month of January. This was initially for mainstream classes only. However, we then learned on the 7th January that our special classes would also remain closed for the moment.
This means that distance learning commences for all classes from the 11th January. We are relieved to have our Distance Learning plan prepared, along with having spent time last term allowing everyone to become familiar with the plan and work on the relevant skills needed.
Remember, there are lots of resources and supports available. We created a specific area on our website for these during the last building closures - have a look if you wish. We look forward to working with our community over the coming weeks and hope everyone is keeping safe and well during this time.
