We couldn't believe our luck when we set off yesterday for our first Sports Day at St. Mary's GAA pitch, just down the road from our school. The weather was perfect!

When we got to the park, teachers and an army of parent (and sibling!) volunteers had the place set out like clockwork. We had a day full of activities and some time for picnics in between.
Everybody had a fantastic time - even some of the parents had a chance to get involved in the racing.
We are so lucky to have such a vibrant school community, to arrange an event like this. We would not have been able to organise anything on such a scale without the help of all of the parent volunteers - so Three Cheers for them!
