During the period of distance learning in Term 3 of last year, our Parents Association (PA) launched the wonderful 'Our School Rocks' initiative. It was a wonderful way to help our community to feel more connected, despite not being together.
Fast forward to this term, and our new Student Council decided it would be a great idea to collaborate with the PA and continue the project. They have invited every pupil in the school to design and decorate their own rock, which will then be placed along the raised beds in our school garden. Our classes have been busy working away on their rocks and it has tied in nicely with the start of Creative Fortnight. Our classes will be able to take a walk around the garden and see the wonderful creativity of every other child in the school - how cool is that!?
