We love walking past our new wing every morning and afternoon and seeing the amazing progress taking place. Imagine that we'll be in there in less than a month! The walls are in place already and its just cosmetic work that needs to be finished now. So exciting! Here's a sneak peek at what's coming... First of all, the wall on the left as you come in our front door will be knocked. This will lead into a new corridor, which will bring you into this treasure-trove of facilities! |
Amazing new PE hall and meeting room
This double-height PE/General Purpose Hall will be an amazing and spectacular addition to our school. We can't wait to use it!
*Please note that the mezzanine will be removed before we move in - all that glass would not be safe in a PE hall! |
Between our new PE/General Purpose Hall and our new Meeting room is a hatch so that refreshments can be easily and safely served to guests at school or community events! And a door so that volunteers can easily travel from one space to the other. What luxury! The Meeting Room is being fitted with a brand new kitchen and extended worktop. It also has its own door to the car park and is accessible from the main body of the school. |
The PE hall will have its own storage area as well as en-suite toilets! It will also have its own door to the car park, as well as access from the main part of the school, which makes it useful and safe for so many types of activities and events! We feel incredibly lucky to be getting this amazing resource, the likes of which very few schools can boast. |

Shared Play and Learning Space
We love team-work in our school. In between our two new classrooms is a third room, which they will share and all get to use for play and learning. The classes can use this space together and separately, for whole-class and small-group work, for play and for work, with their class teacher, support teacher or Special Needs Assistant. It is a truly amazing resource and we are very excited to see how the children use it! |
